The “Sacchetto” method provides the separate application of the upper from the lining, this last one is built “like a glove” on the shape of the shoe and closed just like a bag on the foot. With this construction, also called “Bologna”, the insole is eliminated, thus obtaining a greater softness and flexibility of the shoe.
In this type of work our experience craftsmen will stretch the shoe and beat by hand on a hot mold in order to obtain the desire shape. The next step is sewing the bottom, which is important for the strength and flexibility of the shoe, also carried out under the watchful eye if our expert shoemakers.
This process embodies softness, lightness and processing techniques, which are synonymous of quality, materials research, style and elegance that identify a handmade product.
